a day at the park

some of our good friends were in town today & invited us to meet them at a park by the river (the kiddos are feeling much, much better).

the boys have the best time just being boys. yelling, jumping, running and playing.



the little sisters were always close behind their brothers, trying to keep up.
gracie's favorite part of the park, as always, was playing in the dirt.

miss gracie actually let me fix her hair today. it lasted about half the time at the park until she yanked one out.

we knew it was time to go when ben said he wanted to go home, he was tired. i was hoping for naps, but no such luck. maybe an early bedtime...
