an oldie but a goodie from the beginning of summer...

rockin new years eve

some buddies came to visit us for a rockin new years eve. kinda a last minute thing, but we were thrilled to all get together for some fun. as soon as the "guestes" arrived, ben had to change into a rock n roll shirt & was ready to break out the beatles rock band daddio got for christmas (thanks, auntie jen!).

when we ask ben what he's going to be when he grows up, he replies matter-of-factly, a rock star.

we broke out the guitars tonight.


a fun start to the weekend.

beano plays just like his daddy, loud.

ben played till he "got a hole in his finger" from playing so hard.

the poor boy isn't feeling too good today, but he still managed to sing a love song. it went i love you, i love you. music to my ears!

old time rock & roll

not much going on here, we spent most of the day in the car taking papaw to chemo. he's handling quite well, which i am very thankful for.

brandon brought rockband to play on our trip to the smoky hills (as beano calls it). we had a blast jamming out!


cecee & i couldn't hang the last night and went to bed before beano let his inner rock star truly shine. he was jumping off the fireplace, pointed at miss e & said this one's for you. miss e. is about 4 months old & was even singing along. here's my little rocker...
